Step aboard our Cape Cod charter and let Captain Ross and mate Jayden take you on an adventure you’ll never forget! Ross has led hundreds of guests on chartered fishing trips and wants to make your day perfect- spend all day chasing bass and bluefish, or take it easy on one of our sightseeing tours. You’re sure to catch fish with Captain Ross’s knowledge of the waters surrounding Cape Cod. Ross found his love for saltwater fishing over thirteen years ago when he moved to the cape. Fishing quickly turned into an obsession, and what started with Walmart gear ended with buying a house on the canal and daily trips out on the water. Ross has done plenty of commercial fishing and guiding, going from the Regal Sword to the dumps and everywhere in between. Being on the water every day of the week and sharing these amazing fishing experiences with guests is Ross's life passion. We target stripers, bluefish, black seabass, tautog, bonito, albies, and tuna across our trip offerings. Captain Ross’s boat is a 26’ Sportsman, with reliable yet speedy twin engines to make sure the trip runs smoothly. By surrounding yourself with a local expert like Ross, be prepared to become a better angler each and every time you are out on the water. We make sure to cater to everyone, from pro to average Joe!

Cape Cod Fishing Report July 8th

Bluefish

The fishing has remained unbelievably good here in Cape Cod. The early mornings have been incredible for topwater fishing with various plugs and poppers, the birds are working the surface making it ideal for finding school of feeding Striped Bass. The Striped bass are massive this year!

Top water fishing remains the best in the early morning, the fish continue to feed throughout the day with the fishing slowing down a tad in the late afternoon. The morning Topwater fishing has been second to none.

Cape Cod Charter Guys The Ultimate Fishing Charter Experience from Massachusetts!

Top Fishing Charter in Cape Cod, Massachusetts- Fish With Captain Ross

When I moved to Massachusetts 13 years ago, I'd had a little bit of saltwater fishing experience on the West Coast, but it certainly wasn't my passion. When my wife suggested I get into fishing, I had no idea what a pivotal moment it would be in my life. At this point, my impression of fishing was the classic old guy sitting on a dock in a chair with a bobber. I had no idea how exciting, addicting, and nuanced fishing really was, but I headed down to the tackle shop anyways and purchased a cheap rod and reel. Many locals suggested checking out the Cape Cod Canal, and so that's what I did. With no real knowledge of the area or what I was doing, I somehow managed to hook into a massive fish. By the time the fish had made a couple of runs, it had broken the eyelet on my cheap rod. Unable to use my equipment, and with the fish still pulling at the other end of my line, I had to think fast and be resourceful. Luckily, I had brought some Kevlar gloves with me and was able to handline the fish all the way to shore. My adrenaline was pumping, and I was hooked. That's when I said to myself: "If I'm going to do this, I'm going to do this right." I decided to put in the time and buy high-quality gear. Another reason I love fishing is that it's broadened my relationship with my son Jayden. Ever since he was eight years old, we've bonded over our passion for fishing. We used to fish from the shore and from our 20' center console. When he first started at eight years old, Jayden could hardly land any sized fish, but even as he got older over the next few years, we were able to consistently catch 30-lb and 40-lb class fish that he could barely pick up! This consistency catching big bass led me to pursue a stint of commercial fishing, during which I caught striper weighing in at 65, 62, 59, and 58 pounds, all weighed in on an IGFA-certified scale after they had already bled out on the dock. Eventually, I decided to take the next step and get my Captain's License so I could have more knowledge about the water. Now I've upgraded my boat to a 28' Nauticstar. Being a fishing charter captain is truly my dream job, and now I love watching my clients catch fish and have a great time more than anything. I'm incredibly blessed to be on the water every day, and it's my mission to pass on my fishing knowledge and, more importantly, my passion to clients every single day! Our Boat: We wanted to make sure that our boat was luxurious enough so that you have a comfortable and enjoyable experience right when you leave the dock. We wanted a boat that’s durable and strong to handle the Cape seas, that's why we picked the Nauticstar 28 XS. This boat is designed for the serious offshore angler, it more than meets the needs of our Cape Cod deep sea fishing charters. The boat is specifically designed to provide its passengers with a smooth and soft ride and to keep them dry in the choppy conditions. This is a high performance boat that also provides guests with a luxurious experience while out on the water. It comes fully equipped with comfortable bow seating and fold down aft seats. Boat Amenities: The sound system allows us to be able to play your favorite song no matter what genre of music you like. The soft gunnel pads are comfortable for the clients to lean against while you are fishing which makes the day much more enjoyable. Our electronics and radar system allow us to track the fish and track the storms or any foul weather that may be coming towards us. Safety: Our life raft allows us to have the utmost safety along with our Epirb satellite location device. We also have a satellite COM's phone so no matter how far out we are we still can reach land in case anything ever should go wrong.

The map shows where we fish. The red area is our primary fishing area on Cape Cod depending on time of year and fishing conditions. The pins represent guest meeting locations.

Our Boat: We wanted to make sure that our boat was luxurious enough so that you have a comfortable and enjoyable experience right when you leave the dock. We wanted a boat that’s durable and strong to handle the Cape seas, that's why we picked the Sportsman. It is the only company that uses the adhesive bonding agent that NASA/Space X uses to put panels on the shuttles that go to space, which makes it very strong. The Offshore Deep V Angler Hull takes all types of water. Even on small craft warning days, our boat can handle it easily. Reliability and safety-wise, we chose to upgrade from the 150 Yamaha engines to the 200 twin Yamaha engines so you will always make it back to the dock without any questions.
